This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Bashful Buttercup shows a very shy little girl holding a bouquet of buttercup flowers.  She is holding the buttercups near chest, and you can see the golden reflection on her chin which indicates that she definitely likes butter.  This little cutie is also bashful as can be seen by the blush in her cheeks.  Buttercups also symbolize charm and humility which is very evident in this pattern.  If you extol these virtues, then this pattern would be a charming addition to your cross stitch collection.  No blended colors are used in our patterns.  We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.  Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
