This lighthouse counted cross stitch pattern entitled Cape May Light 2004 shows the lighthouse standing in spectacular form against a very blue clear sky.  It is located in New Jersey and was built in 1859 under the supervision of the U.S. Army.  Towering a staggering 157 feet into the air with walls over 3 feet thick at the bottom and 1 foot thick at the top, it was designed to withstand winds of hurricane force.  It is a very beautiful lighthouse and one worthy of stitching.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
