This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Charity1 designed from a painting by Adolphe William Bouguereau shows a beautiful woman embracing and providing nurturing and nourishment to five babies, three in her embrace and two at her feet.  This is a selfless act of charity indeed to care for those in need.  The colors are vibrant in this scene, especially the red of her gown, and the beauty of her face is also noted.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
