This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Young Goose Maid in a Meadow by Paul Wilhelm Keller-Reutlingen shows a young woman shepherding a gaggle of geese across the meadow on a sunny day. Notice particularly the goose maid's golden flaxen hair that shines and glistens in the sunlight as she herds the geese. The puffy clouds are hanging low and look like you could reach right out and touch them. This is an unusual depiction as it is not often we see geese being herded. It's usually sheep and will make an interesting conversation piece when stitched. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
