This Irish counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Walls of Dublin shows characteristic walls of stone scattered over the countryside of Dublin, Ireland.  The walls are built by hand to protect crop fields and separate them from areas where livestock graze.  Each stone is perfectly selected to fit in its proper space, and the walls are made to last and endure the test of time.  Although the sky may look threatening in this scene, the stone walls will with stand even the toughest of storms.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
