This cottage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Cottage in the Woods designed by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows a lovely quaint little cottage nestled in the woods next to flowering shrubs the color of fuchsia and bluebell flowers blanketing the ground. What a colorful sight this is to see the sun glinting down on the trees giving them a highlighted look turning the greens into chartreus, and the trees in the background echo the colors of the bluebell flowers. Even splashes of orange are seen in flowers on the right. This is a very cheerful scene that would be a pleasure to stitch! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
