This vintage counted cross stitch pattern entitled Lazy Afternoon shows two young women enjoying leisure time on a lazy hot summer day by the creek when a fairy nymph comes paddling by to engage them in conversation. There is nothing more one would rather do on such an afternoon than to laze by the creek and dabble your feet in the water to cool off. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
