This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled La Piazzetta designed from a painting by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot shows the Venetian square and the people interacting with each other, the nearby waterfront, and the Lion of Venice Column which is one of the prominent figures in the scene. The sky has a golden tint to it, and closer to the water it becomes rose-colored. The style of architecture is ornate with multiple columns and intricate design. This is a beautiful pattern and certainly worth the stitch. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
