This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Falls in the River Clyde, Corry Lynn, " was designed from a painting by Edmund Marriner Gill shows gorgeous waterfalls in Corry Lynn, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.  It is the largest of all the falls in Scotland.  In this scene, earth and sepia tones are shown with the exception of some of the colors.  Even though the falls have a lower cascade, the drama is not lost.  The falls are shown actually cutting through the cliffs with a resounding splash, creating spray in the air that looks invigorating and exciting.  The trees on the cliff bear witness to the power and beauty of the falls, taking in this dramatic scene!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
