This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Lilith designed from a painting by John Collier shows Lilith, the opposite of Eve pictured without a man (Adam) as she feels she does not need a man to accomplish tasks or to reach goals. She represents strong feelings of independence, feminism and sensuality as noted with the serpent (the symbol of evil, temptation and deceit) intertwining around her body. The serpent's movements and positioning on her body highlight her provocative pose. The qualities of Lilith may be good to have as stand-alone qualities excluding the serpent, but when they are combined with the negative qualities of the serpent, Lilith will eventually be duped, and we all know that nothing good is going to come out of listening to the voice of evil. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
