This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Molly, Duchess of Nona (aka Maurice Howlett's Little Novel of Italy) designed from a painting by Frank Cadogan Cowper shows a portrait of Molly with her long brown hair sitting by a window dressed in a very ornate detailed gown.  She is holding a pink rose.  There are doves flitting in and out of the window.  There was something special about Molly in that she had a favorite way of greeting everyone and that was by using kissing as a salutation.  This endeared her to those around her.  She was a beautiful woman and was known to be a very kind-hearted person which made her well-liked and even loved by many.  Looking at her portrait, you can see the sincerity in her her soulful brown eyes staring back at you.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
