This Charles White counted cross stitch pattern entitled Gardens of the Villa Melzi designed from a painting by Charles White shows bridge spanning a pond with lily pads as a bevy of feathery Japanese maples line the perimeter of the pond. The bronze colors of the leaves mesh well with the striking green leaves, and a lone lavender colored tree sits in elegant stillness. This garden would be a place of Godly meditation where a person could go to reflect on life's events, dissolve into a state of oneness blocking out distractions and speaking one on one with the Father. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
