This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Italian Landscape designed from a painting by Jean-Baptiste Corot shows a lovely bucolic scene of large trees by a lake, animals leisurely cooling off in the lake, and people enjoying the scenery and engaging in conversation, merriment and dance. The trees dominate the scene with their large plumes of leaves. The colors used are soft and have a calming effect. This particular artwork was created in the early 1800's by the artist and was heavily influenced by his travels. The scene looks like it's a place where everyone would want to be in order to relax and cast their worries aside. This pattern would be breathtaking for a large dining room area or for an additional formal living space. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
