This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled A View Near Volterra designed from a painting by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot shows a man traveling up a rocky hill on a white horse towards a grove of trees high on a cliff. There are fair skies overhead slightly blue with gray clouds hovering overhead. Large boulders are present on the left with a large log from tree near the path. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
