This owl counted cross stitch pattern entitled Noble Barn Owl shows a lovely barn owl perched for a striking pose. This own, also known as the "common barn owl" is found in many parts of the world including Asia, the Himalayas, and the Pacific Islands. These owls are experts at hunting small mammals on the ground. This is due to their very acute hearing which allows them to hear the animal from a faraway distance. The thing I find most striking about this bird is that it looks so regal to me. You could see this bird perched on the finger or shoulder of someone of nobility like a king, someone of great importance. No blended colors are used in our patterns. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect. Only full cross stitches are used in our designs.
