This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Betty Newell designed from a painting by Charles Courtney Curran shows a girl with sunlight filtering through her hair standing amongst the flowers in a garden with a hedge and a statue behind her. The colors of the flowers which are white, pink and violet are reflected onto the white dress she is wearing. She seems to be at home in this sunny garden and enjoys spending time there. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
