This Christmas counted cross stitch pattern entitled Scottish Terrier Puppy shows an adorable Scotty pup sprawled out on top of a large Christmas gift that is decorated in red and gold paper with a large fancy bow. Another small gift decorated in gold is seen off to the side. The scene is surrounded with pine clippings and large red ornaments. The puppy apparently has staked its territory and does not seem to want to budge from his spot. So, whoever the gift belongs to will probably have a playful tussle with the pup in order for him to relinquish his prize. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
