This fine art counted cross-stitch pattern entitled The Church of Our Lady in Esslinger designed from a painting by Michael Neher shows a large, beautiful Gothic Hall church built in 1516 and paid for by the wealthy citizens of the town. It is located in Southwest Germany. Its distinctive feature is a 72-foot-tall single tower that rises into the skyline and can be seen for miles around. It is an incredibly beautiful work of art and a masterpiece of architecture. The church today functions not only as a historical landmark with guided tours, but also as an evangelical church. In this scene we see people gathered together tending a garden not far from the church. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
