This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Dutch Flower Girls, designed from a painting by George Hitchcock, shows two girls in the town square selling flowers from large wicker baskets to passersby.  The day is sunny with only a few clouds in the sky.  The girls are positioned on the cobblestone street dressed in blue skirts (one with white stripes and the other in flower print), black shrugs, and white bonnets.  The flowers are in bright colors of yellow and orange.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
