This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Golding Constable's Kitchen Garden designed from a painting by John Constable shows his father's bountiful vegetable garden in East Bergholt. The scene has a sort of nostalgic look, and the lush garden is quite expansive. Just like in the flower garden, there is an interesting contrast between light and dark in the shadows being cast by rows of plants and lightness of the grassy areas that are undisturbed by plants, including the dark and lightness of the clouds above. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
