This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Haying at Jones Inn designed from a painting by George Henry Durrie shows rural life and chores near the Jones Inn in the New England location where it's time for haying (gathering the hay) to be processed or sold. This is a very busy time of the year for farmers. A large tree on the left dominates the scene providing shade over the large building called Jones Inn. The animals are roaming freely on the farm while the farmer is piling hay on top of a large wagon. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
