This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Memory of Heaven, designed from a painting by Anne-Francois-Louis Janmot, shows souls as little children in heaven being held by angels, the Virgin Mary, and welcomed by the Christ child. This is very poignant as we realize we were babes in heaven and our souls were waiting to come down to our earthly parents, and that we were once held by Christ, the Virgin Mar,y and angels. While most of us have no memories of what heaven was like, we certainly know from reading the Bible what it will be like, and we look forward to seeing it. For it is far beyond our limited imagination, and what beauty we see here on earth could never match what delights we will see in heaven. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
