This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Autumn Gold designed from a painting by Joseph Farquharson shows a woodland autumn scene on a steep hillside with large trees adorned with golden leaves. The leaves have blanketed the forest floor creating a rich tapestry of fall colors in yellow, orange, gold, and rust while pheasants peck away the leaves in search of seeds and berries. The evergreens in the background offset the spectacular color and make this scene complete! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
