This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Thoughtful Reader designed from a painting by Franz Dvorak shows a woman sitting on a couch with her back propped up with pillows in deep thought as she processes what she is reading. Either the book she is reading is very interesting and is enough to initiate her thought process, or it could be a very boring book that she is forcing herself to plow through. We may never know the exact story behind what she is doing, but it is a keeper for bibliophiles (book lovers) who would want to stitch this and place it in their own personal library or study. Looking at it makes people want to open a book and read. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
