This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Young Goose Maid in a Meadow by Paul Wilhelm Keller-Reutlingen, shows a young woman shepherding a gaggle of geese across the meadow on a sunny day.  Notice particularly the goose maid's flaxen hair that shines and glistens in the sunlight as she herds the geese.  The puffy clouds are hanging low and look like you could reach right out and touch them.  This is an unusual depiction as it is not often that we see geese being herded.  It's usually sheep and will make an interesting conversation piece when stitched.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
