This Halloween counted cross stitch pattern entitled Scared Out of My Wits shows a large golden-eyed black cat who wandered away from home thinking the grass was greener on the other side, but instead he ended up in a nearby graveyard. He is perched on top of a large tombstone, keeping a watchful eye on everything around him making sure no ghosts are sneaking up on him. The moon is full, and there is no place he’d rather be than back at home where he realizes he is loved. He reminisces about being up high in a window watching his family pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. Let’s hope that his family will recognize that he’s gone and will come to take him back home. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
