This fine art counted cross stitch pattern, entitled Still Life of Grapes and a Peach on a Table, designed from a painting by Jan Van Huysum, shows a still life of luminous green grapes that have a healthy glow, combined with the rich tones of the black grapes in the shadows. The colors of the leaves complement the tones of fall and remind us of harvest time. A large peach is positioned at the left side along with other fruit, and a sprig of red flowers lies on the table to add a splash of color. The setting is vibrant indeed despite the dark colors, which add a tantalizing drama to the scene. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
