This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Tristan and Isolde designed from a painting by Herbert James Draper shows the tragic romance between the couple where Tristan was commissioned by his uncle, King Mark of Cornwall, to bring Isolde (Princess of Ireland) to him, but in the process, Tristan falls deeply and madly in love with her. So much so, that Tristan, along with Isolde, have agreed to end their own lives by drinking a poisonous potion if they cannot be together. This is a very colorful vibrant pattern full of detail, and if you're up for the challenge and like chivalry and romance, this is the pattern for you. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
