This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled View Across Frenchman's Bay designed from a painting by Thomas Cole shows the clearing of a squall just over an expanse of ocean where a small ship is being tossed about and may be no match for nature's fury. The wind is violently creating waves and splashing dark green water and froth up on the rocks. Islands can be seen in the distance where the sky meets the horizon. The squall will be over soon. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
