This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Winter on the Lake designed from a painting by Anders Andersen shows two groups of people in their boats on the lake on a misty winter morning. The trees are covered with snow. The faint images of the mountains covered with patches of snow can be seen in the background, and off to the right is a winter lodge in which the visitors seek refuge from the cold. Two large trees command center stage with every inch of their bark, branches and twigs covered in snow. What a breathtaking sight this is! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
