This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mrs. Daniel Denison Rogers (Abigael Bromfield) designed from a painting by John Singleton Copley shows a portrait of the artist's step-niece 10 years after she escaped to London after fleeing the revolution taking place in Boston.  She is wearing a beautiful gown that looks white at the bodice but appears silver at the skirt (from the waist down).  Her sleeves and collar are trimmed in lace, and she is wearing a shear white wrap to keep her warm on blustery days.  Her hat is a bit grandiose with lace trimming, brown satin and foxtail plumes.  The sky is covered in swirling clouds, and as the wind whips them across the sky, her wrap appears to be blown by the wind.  She has her back near a large tree to shield herself from the approaching storm.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
