This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mrs. Daniel Hubbard (Mary Greene) designed from a painting by John Singleton Copley shows a beautiful portrait of Mary Greene Hubbard, a merchant class member (bourgeoisie) in Boston.  Here she is featured in a beautiful gown of sage green trimmed in white lace that mirrors the type of gowns worn by women of nobility.  Extra care in the workmanship and detail have been taken by the artist to make this artwork a one-of-a-kind, and it known that he was self-taught.  The background shows voluminous black clouds billowing around Mary as she leans on an outdoor table to perhaps partake of some refreshment.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
