This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Harem Women Feeding Pigeons in a Courtyard designed from a painting by Jean-Leon Gerome shows a group of harem women throwing food to a large flock of pigeons on a large veranda. The women are heavily veiled, and there is a eunuch standing guard for their protection. It is a sunny morning, and the birds are enjoying their feast. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
