This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Cleopatra designed from a painting by Edward Mason Eggleston shows his version of Cleopatra in a sultry pose with a peacock in the scene which suggests vanity and beauty.  The background lit by the moonlight shows a spectacular palace that almost appears dreamlike.  The colors are bold and vibrant, and the color red is used frequently to portray an air of lavish living, royalty and sensual appeal.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
