This angel counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Angel designed from a painting by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones shows an angel in blue robes playing a musical instrument for the glorification of God.  The angel's wings are an interesting color and match his robes of blue.  The scene tends to remind us of Christmas and would make a lovely finished project to hang on your wall during the holiday season.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
