This children in counted cross stitch pattern entitled The One that Got Away by Tracey Marvel Kramer shows a little boy standing outside in the great outdoors to fly his kit and with one careless move, he let go of the string and a gust of wind came and took the kite into the air to a point where he was unable to reach it. He is standing there watching it sail over the hills and valleys out of reach, no longer to be in his hands and under his control. Well, it will be time for him to save up for another kite, and hopefully this next adventure will be a better one. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
