This Christmas counted cross stitch pattern entitled Christmas in America designed from a painting done in 1919 by Alphonse Mucha shows a woman dressed in a Czeck-style flowing gown with a crown of evergreens.  She is holding fruit, a lit candle, and a set of bells in her hand which are things usually found in Czeck Christmas traditions, and in this scene these traditions are being honored while in America.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
