This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled A Ruined Mosque at Champaneer by Marianne North shows a mosque or holy place in the distance which appears almost transparent like a vision or dream.  A large pendulous tree to the left frames the mosque very well, and only a few feet away is a man resting on a large stone while others make their pilgrimage to the mosque for prayer and supplication.  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
