This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Dark Brown & White Newfoundland Spaniel designed from a painting by George Stubbs shows a beautiful dog whose coat is in chocolate and white with a flourish of white on the tip of his tail.  He is primarily used for hunting, and is known for having a calm demeanor, is even-tempered and is patient.  This particular dog has a resolute, benign expression on his face as if he is pleading for attention from a loved one.  This is a handsome dog and certainly worth the stitch!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
