This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled A Select Committee designed from a painting by Henry Stacy Marks shows a collection of gorgeous birds (cockatoos and parrots to be exact) ranging in various colors such as white, white with pinkish and red feathers, blue and violet and one very noticeable shade of deep purple and purple/violet.  They are sitting in rows and all seem to be under the command of one bird.  The birds seem to be thriving inside their own sanctuary that they call home.  If you’re a bird lover, this is the pattern for you!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
