This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Lina Cavalieri designed from a painting by Vittorio Matteo Corcos shows a full-length portrait of Lina Cavalieri, born on Christmas day in 1874. She was known to be the most beautiful woman in the world. Not only was she considered exceptionally beautiful, but she was an Italian soprano and operatic singer, an actress, and a monologist performer. She also belonged to a troupe of women who subscribed to wearing corsets to accentuate their hourglass figures. She brought elegance and style to the stage and was revered by many. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
