Not only was she considered exceptionally beautiful, but she was an Italian soprano and operatic singer, an actress, and a monologist performer. She also belonged to a troupe of women who subscribed to wearing corsets to accentuate their hourglass figures. She brought elegance and style to the stage and was revered by many.
