This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Broken Vase designed from a painting by Emile Munier shows a young child who has broken a vase and is hiding her face in shame. Apparently, she had been jumping rope when the rope caught on the vase and knocked it off a nearby table. She now fears a good scolding for her misdeed, which in actuality, was an accident. She is wearing a white whole slip interlaced with blue ribbon, and she sits on a silk-covered ottoman to await her fate. As luck would have it, her guardians will probably take one look at that adorable face, forego punishing her, and will call it a day. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
