This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Cabbage Field designed from a painting by Charles Courtney Curran shows a woman standing in the middle of a cabbage field harvesting cabbages. Others are helping in the background, and a team of two horses are off to the side for transportation. The cabbage leaves have a pearlescent sheen to them and they glisten with the dawn's early dew. The sky is a multitude of pastel colors ranging from yellow to lavender, blue and deep purple. Simply beautiful! Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
