This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Turkish Coffee designed from a painting by Edouard Louis Dubufe shows a young woman carrying a decanter of Turkish coffee along with drinking cups to serve to guests. In this scene, the woman serving the coffee is wearing her dark hair loose and uncovered, and is wearing a very ornate dress with colors of orange, red and ecru. Most of the background is a deep teal, and there are various prints and patterns on blankets draped nearby. Turkish coffee is very strong and has a unique flavor. It is loaded with antioxidants and many ingredients that help prevent sickness. The flavor is said to be very intense and due to its strength, it may be too much for delicate palates to handle. It has a higher concentration of flavor and caffeine in it than most coffees. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
