This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled The Voyage of Life - Manhood designed from a painting by Thomas Cole shows man in the prime of his life full of vigor and strength navigating through turbulent waters as seen in the rough swells of the river with the help of divine intervention and faith in God to help him through his turbulence. As you can see in the scene, his hands are clasped together and he is looking upward for God's help. Though the terrain may be rough (much like life) and he may not always have it easy in life, the fact that he seeks a higher power outside himself (God), he can rest assured that he will not be abandoned in times of trouble and may even triumph. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
