This fractal counted cross stitch pattern entitled Mardi Gras shows a very detailed ornate design with an abundance of color with red being the dominant color. There are a variety of shapes used forming a nucleus in the center with a pattern of shapes in every color surrounding the center. The collision of colors create a party-like atmosphere similar to the atmosphere of Marti Gras. This would not be a dull stitch. In fact, it may take awhile, but if you're up for the challenge, the end results would be both rewarding and satisfying as a work of art and conversation piece. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
