This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Guthrie Castle shows a beautiful stately castle located in Angus, Scotland with original architecture built in the 15th century and most of the additions occurring in the 19th century. Some of the rooms are currently being used for meetings by world leaders. On the grounds is a nine-hole golf course including scenic walking trails. In this scene the grounds are well-manicured with large shapely hedges and shrubs artfully trimmed to precision that act as barriers of protection and privacy. A large tree to the right is arching over the scene forming a lovely frame of the castle and its plants and shrubs. Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we only use an abundance of solid colors to produce a more realistic effect.
