This landscape counted cross stitch pattern entitled Southern Splendor shows a big beautiful Southern mansion with graceful arching trees that help to frame the scene and the bountiful collection of hydrangeas and other flowering shrubs in various colors of soft pastels in blues, pinks and white. The steps lead to a large rambling covered porch that is characteristic of many Southern homes. The trees help to provide the necessary amount of shade to make sitting on the porch a pleasant experience while still providing enough dappled sunlight for the abundance of flowering plants.
