Pattern Keeper Compatible?:
This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Forest Scene designed from a painting by Thomas Moran shows a scene of woodland enchantment romanticized by the artist that presents the forest floor as a place that is teaming with wildlife living in an idyllic setting.  Never has the forest been portrayed so elegantly.  The trees are massive in girth and provide pillar structures, canopies and havens for all creatures.  The differences in the color of bark on the trees does not go unnoticed, and the beauty of the scene draws us inward into this woodland world.  I am mesmerized by the feathery texture of the branches of leaves, and if you stare long enough, you can imagine them swaying slightly with the breeze.  This is truly a magnificent pattern, and is one in which I plan to stitch in the near future!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. We only use an abundance of solid colors as it produces a more realistic effect.
