This fine art counted cross stitch pattern entitled Brazilian Forest designed from a painting by Martin Johnson Heade shows a heavily dense tropical landscape with a fern tree as the major point of focus.  The trees intertwine, connecting through vines, roots, and branches to form a dense jungle filled with alcoves where creatures can hide, survive, and thrive.  If you look closely at the bottom right corner of the scene, you can see tiny figures climbing up the path through the jungle, which gives you an idea of the scale of things and just how big the trees and plants are compared to the size of the figures below.  The sun in a clearing just above is shining its light upon the fern tree, highlighting nuances in color variances.  This is a magnificent work of art with high definition and detail of plants that provides a beautiful texture when stitched on canvas.  If you feel up for the challenge, feel free to order!  Only full cross stitches are used in our patterns. No blended colors are used. Instead, we use a variety of solid colors to achieve a more realistic effect.
